In Tallinn

Yesterday we took the Megastar ferry from the beautiful new terminal in Helsinki for a 2 hour trip to Tallinn, Estonia.  Our hotel was about 1K away so we walked it and began to explore the city, my highlight being a visit to the 23rd floor of the Viru hotel to see the site of the KGB spy rooms.

This morning we've already had a 6:30 breakfast, made slightly dramatic by the arrival of 3 fire trucks and an evacuation notice on the TV in our room. Didn't amount to anything that we've hear of though.

The agenda for today is a bit of sightseeing, a return ferry to Helsinki where we will catch our bargain-basement priced train to Turku. We should be there by about 18:30.
